Our
Mission.
The Altadena Community Fund is dedicated to fostering resilience, recovery, and renewal in the Altadena community and beyond. Initially established to provide critical support for those impacted by the devastating 2025 wildfires in the region, our mission extends to advancing the long-term economic, cultural, and environmental revitalization of Altadena and the greater Los Angeles County community.
Through collaborative grantmaking, strategic initiatives, and inclusive stewardship, we aim to build a stronger, more sustainable future for the people of Altadena. Initially founded as a fiscally-sponsored project of the Edward Charles Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, we raise tax-deductible contributions to support recovery efforts, empower community-led redevelopment, and ensure enduring support for the well-being and prosperity of all who call this region home.
This mission reflects our commitment to equitable and inclusive revitalization, fostering partnerships that inspire hope, rebuild lives, and preserve the unique character of Altadena for generations to come.
The Day After Tomorrow
Fundraising Event In Partnership with Outstanding in the Field
Join us on Saturday, March 8th for an evening of healing for first responders and members of the Altadena and Pacific Palisades communities at The Rose Bowl Stadium.
With a focus on resilience and the power of community, donors, first responders, and impacted community members will share a family-style, farm-to-table meal prepared by the city’s most beloved chefs and enjoy a live charity auction.
Buy one, gift one, Purchasers are encouraged to donate tickets to seat first responders at the table.
The Day After Tomorrow dinner was envisioned as a call to action. Donors can cement their place in the unprecedented restoration of Los Angeles by purchasing event tickets, making cash donations, or bidding for items and experiences during a live auction at the dinner.
100% of proceeds will be donated to the Altadena Community Fund and the Palisades Community Fund.
